PROPOSAL 6 - ARCHITECTURAL EVOLUTION AND IMPROVEMENT AS SEEN IS THE COTE D'OR COUNTY CASTLESLa rochepot (13th c.), Clos Vougeot (15th c.), Chateauneuf and Commarin (18th c.), in the Pouilly en Auxois area. PROPOSAL 7 - DIJON History and walk through the ancient capital of the dukes of Burgundy, with the visits of Saint Bénigne, Notre Dame, the Palace of the Dukes (14th to 18th c.) and the art museum with its Flamish paintings. PROPOSAL 8 - LYON Lyon, gallo-roman city, visit of the Lugdunum site. Lyon, silk city since the 16th century ; history of the silk manufactures and visit of the silk museum. Lyon, heart of the resistance movement during World War 2 ; walk through the footsteps of the resistance heroes. |
