PROPOSAL 1 - THE ROMANESQUE CHURCHES OF SOUTHERN BURGUNDY From TOURNUS, via FARGES and CHAPAIZE, to BRANCION and its mediaeval village. This tour can be added with PROPOSAL 2.
 PROPOSAL 2 - SPECIAL CLUNY TOUR The old town, the famous stud farm and the visit of the 12th century romanesque abbey. Optional visit to the monastic chapel of BERZE.
PROPOSAL 3 - CLUNY AND ITS MEDIAEVAL PRIORIES Visit of the historic abbey, then BLANOT, BRANCION, ONGY, MALOY, BERZE and the ruins of Saint Hyppolite.
PROPOSAL 4 - THE BRIONNAIS ROMANESQUE CHURCHES AND THEIR SCULPTURES Anzy le Duc, Semur en Brionnais, Paray le Monial, Montceaux l'Etoile, Bois Sainte Marie.
PROPOSAL 5 - ON THE ROAD OF THE DUKES OF BURGUNDY CASTLES Rully (13th and 15th c.), castle which was owned by the dukes of Burgundy. Germolles, their summer mansion, Couches, 13th century castle, Marguerite de Bourgogne's estate. Optional visit to Cormatin (17th century interior and paintings).
PROPOSAL 6 - ARCHITECTURAL EVOLUTION AND IMPROVEMENT AS SEEN IS THE COTE D'OR COUNTY CASTLES La rochepot (13th c.), Clos Vougeot (15th c.), Chateauneuf and Commarin (18th c.), in the Pouilly en Auxois area.
PROPOSAL 7 - DIJON History and walk through the ancient capital of the dukes of Burgundy, with the visits of Saint Bénigne, Notre Dame, the Palace of the Dukes (14th to 18th c.) and the art museum with its Flamish paintings.
PROPOSAL 8 - LYON Lyon, gallo-roman city, visit of the Lugdunum site. Lyon, silk city since the 16th century ; history of the silk manufactures and visit of the silk museum. Lyon, heart of the resistance movement during World War 2 ; walk through the footsteps of the resistance heroes.
